The coupler for Ø28 mm rebar joins class A500C bars end-to-end without welding or lapping: the M29×3,0 thread is rolled onto the rebar and the splice becomes full-strength to the bar body. Ø28 mm rebar is a working reinforcement in columns, walls, pile caps and slabs of cast-in-place buildings. A Ø28 coupled splice replaces welding and lapping: it saves rebar, removes weld inspection and speeds up installation. For congested and end nodes, weldable (AR) and position (AF, CF) versions are used; for regular splices — standard (B) and swaged (LX-Press).
